Our approach is one of positive risk and empowerment and for our clients to feel we are there with them, not for them.

We love to see our clients grow in confidence, self-belief and independence. We help to achieve this by being extremely creative and proactive with our community based activities and by understanding social dynamics are key in improving mental health and well-being.

Safeguarding

Behind the fun activities and social outcomes, our dedicated staff are instilled with the professional tools, knowledge and confidence to ensure all our clients receive the highest level of care. 

We promote an honest, open and collaborative working culture with clear lines of communication between front line staff and Designated Safeguarding Leads. Weekly team meetings, monthly safeguarding reports and regular supervision and training accompany comprehensive support plans, risk assessments and session records.

 

All our staff have an in-depth understanding of how our clients typically present and behave which allows for clear and considered decision making, followed by swift and efficient safeguarding processes when necessary. We also understand when it comes to safeguarding concerns, we may only have part of the picture. This is why we form positive working relationships with parents, carers and other organisations to gain all 'the pieces to the puzzle' and ensure our support personifies the Care Act's 6 principles of safeguarding:
